Installation

Get Konevo running on your server in three steps.

Bring a Linux server with Docker Compose and a domain pointed at it. Clone the deployment bundle once; it starts PostgreSQL and Caddy, provisions HTTPS automatically, and can optionally pull published release images.

Deployment model

Konevo is designed for one Linux server running Docker Compose. Kubernetes is not required or officially maintained; teams with multi-node or high-availability requirements can adapt the published container image to their own infrastructure.

Clone the deployment bundle

Create a restricted deployment account, then clone the repository. Do not download individual deployment files with curl.

Add your hostname and credentials

Keep application settings and secrets only in the server environment file. Set APP_IMAGE to the published release you want to run; the public repository identifiers are needed only for automatic updates.

Launch Konevo

Start a chosen published release. Optionally install the release timer to automatically deploy the newest release without a GitHub SSH key.

Before launching, point your domain's DNS at the server and allow ports 80 and 443. Caddy requests and renews the TLS certificate; use the Gmail setup guide to add the matching OAuth redirect URL.
